We allow parents to get in water if it is absolutely necessary but try to encourage them to stay out if they can. Tell parents to talk to their children for about 3 weeks before they turn 2.5 years about going up to the “big girls/boys” so they are a little familiar with what is going to happen. Get the parents to watch a class with their little one which has no parents in it.
